Our History

Founded in 2001, Golden Macadamias began with a vision to transform the South African macadamia industry through modern processing and global market access. Over two decades, we have grown from a local processor to a world-class operation, investing heavily in state-of-the-art technology and expanding our footprint internationally.

    Golden Macadamias Founded

Golden Macadamias was established by a group of 16 South African macadamia farmers who chose to process and market their own crop. From the outset, the vision was clear: build a more integrated supply chain that delivers quality, traceability, and sustainable returns for growers while offering customers a reliable, long-term supply.

    Securing the Ground

The company purchased the land on which the current factory is still situated today, laying the foundation for long-term growth and investment in processing capability.
